FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chambersburg (June 27) - The Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund and the Franklin County Coalition announced today that the organizations have partnered with an Adams County business to offer energy audits and renewable energy systems to homeowners and businesses in Franklin and Adams Counties. Vertis M. Bream, an Adams County contractor, will be working with the organizations to offer those services and save energy costs for area residents.

The Energy Audits will consist of a visit from Bream's business, which will review energy uses in the home or business, and conclude with a written list of suggestions for energy conservation, the installation of renewable energy systems, and practices which could result in significant energy savings. If requested, Bream's business will also assist the homeowner or business with the installation of renewable energy systems and purchasing of energy conserving equipment.

The cost for homeowners for a complete Energy Audit will be $250. Business owners will be given a price quote upon their inquiry, based upon the size and complexity of the business. Tom Linzey, coordinator of the Franklin County Coalition, explained that "numerous individuals and businesses from Franklin County have been asking for help in reducing their energy costs. As a nationally and internationally known expert in alternative energy systems, super efficient refrigeration, efficient AC/DC lighting and solar electric systems, Bream's Aspers business was the perfect organizational choice to serve Franklin Countians. With energy prices soaring, it only makes sense to take steps to conserve energy and consider installing renewable energy systems - such as solar electric and hot water heating systems."

Vertis Bream and his sub-contractors have worked on renewable energy projects around the world. Among other services, they also specialize in wind generators, hydro power systems, battery/Inverter systems and solar water pumping systems.

To schedule an Energy Audit or inquire about renewable energy systems, contact Vertis M. Bream at (717) 677-6721. For more information about this Program, contact the Franklin County Coalition at (717) 709-0457.
